COVID
11/8/2021
The Hanover Christmas Committee, a Main Street Hanover effort, is happy
to announce the
following plans for the 2021 Christmas Season.
We plan to have Santa’s Cabin open for the entire 2021 schedule.
The health and well-being of our volunteers and visitors is our highest
priority. To achieve our
desire to keep the cabin open all season long, we will be requiring
masks for all visitors over the
age of 2. We will also be installing a plexiglass divider to provide
added protection to Santa and
the visitors.
The Christmas in Hanover committee along with the Borough of Hanover
wants to reassure our
community that we have developed COVID -19 guidelines that we hope will
ensure everyone’s
health and safety during our Christmas season.
These guidelines and protocols have been developed in conjunction with
recommendations from
the CDC and local health officials.
Please visit our website for our COVID Update tab for all guidelines
before your visit to ensure
you have a good visit and understand what is asked of the visitor.
We understand that any changes to the infection rates in Hanover can
impact our ability to keep
the cabin open, so we are prompting the community to follow our website
and social media
channels to ensure the cabin’s hours before visiting. Dates and times
for the cabin visits are
subject to change.
Our Christmas Committee has been working overtime to plan for this
season with added
precautions. Along with the Santa Cabin hours, we look forward to the
Christmas Parade on
Friday, November 26 and Christmas Tree Lighting on Small Business
Saturday, November 27.
Coloring pages, home decoration competition, and other holiday shopping
events can all be
expected this holiday season. Visit our social media channels and
websites for details on all
events happening around town this season.
We want to give a big thank you to everyone for their help in getting
this ready! We could not
accomplish all that we are doing this year without the dedicated
committee of volunteers, Main
Street Hanover staff, and loyal donors to the Christmas efforts every
year.

Masks are required to see Santa. You will be
required to wear a mask during your entire visit with Santa,
including while outdoors in situations where
you are unable to maintain 6ft of social distance, for
example waiting in line to enter.
We have made every effort to provide this
opportunity to visit with Santa. If you are unable to observe
these requirements, we recommend writing a
letter to Santa this year and participating in our other
holiday activities.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation,
we look forward to your visit!
